New Profile empowers patients to lose weight and maintain permanent weight control and preserve health by means of a comprehensive, medically-directed, multi-disciplined approach.

This includes a comprehensive medical evaluation, behavior modification, very low energy diets (VLED), dietary education and supervision, exercise and the appropriate use of pharmaceuticals.

New Profile begins by administering the protein modified fast, developed at Case-Western Reserve University Medical Center in the early 70s. This system allows for safe and consistent weight reduction with close medical supervision, through dietary supplements. After a six to 12-week period of transition/stabilization, patients are gradually reintroduced to foods with careful dietary consultation.

Exercise is one of the keys to long-term weight management. New Profile provides the support people need to begin and maintain a successful, effective, personalized exercise program under the supervision of a highly-qualified and experienced exercise physiologist.

Behavior modification is an essential part of any program. During weekly sessions led by an experienced facilitator, participants learn to apply the principles that will not only allow them to accomplish, but maintain permanent weight reduction.
